SELECTED INGREDIENTS

More than dosage alone, the intrinsic quality, origin, and extraction method of the active ingredients determine their effectiveness.

SALICYLIC ACID

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) derived from willow bark. Since it is fat-soluble, it penetrates the pores to dissolve excess sebum and remove dead skin cells. It has a gentle keratolytic effect that refines the skin's texture, reduces blackheads and unclogs pores. With antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, it is particularly suitable for combination to oily skin prone to breakouts.

Found in the Anti-Blemish Serum.

BAKUCHIOL

Bakuchiol is a plant-derived phenolic compound extracted from babchi seeds. It regulates the expression of genes involved in collagen synthesis and keratinocyte differentiation, improving skin elasticity and firmness.

Found in the Regenerating Smoothing Serum.

NIACINAMIDE

Niacinamide (vitamin B3) is a water-soluble molecule that stimulates ceramide synthesis, regulates inflammation, and inhibits melanin transfer, thereby improving skin barrier function and reducing hyperpigmentation.

Our niacinamide has been clinically tested and has shown results in combating blue light and UV-related damage.

Found in the Anti-Dark Spot Regenerating Serum.

COLLAGEN PEPTIDES

Collagen peptides are short fragments derived from the structure of skin collagen that act as biomimetic messengers, capable of stimulating fibroblasts and boosting collagen production, thereby improving the skin’s firmness and elasticity.

The collagen peptides we have selected are collagen hexapeptides stabilised through liposomal encapsulation, which have demonstrated their efficacy in vivo by enhancing the density and quality of skin collagen, contributing to firmer, smoother, and visibly revitalised skin.

Found in the Multi-Corrective Regenerating Cream.

RETINOL

Retinol is the active form of vitamin A used for its scientifically proven anti-ageing benefits: it stimulates cell renewal, boosts collagen production, and improves skin elasticity and texture, while reducing wrinkles and uneven skin tone.

Our Retinol has been carefully selected for its exceptional quality. It is characterised by high concentration, superior purity (>95%), and stabilisation with natural tocopherols in a plant-based carrier, ensuring optimal efficacy and better protection against oxidation compared to conventional Retinols.

Found in the Regenerating Firming Serum.

VITAMIN C

Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) is a water-soluble antioxidant used in cosmetics to protect the skin from oxidative stress and stimulate collagen synthesis.
Our Vitamin C has two features that make it superior in quality.
It is stable: after four months, its stability is measured at 97%, compared to 73% for other vitamin C products on the market.
Enzymatic breakdown enhances its release into the skin.

Found in the Radiance Regenerating Serum

ZINC PCA

Zinc PCA combines zinc - a trace element essential for skin regulation - with pyrrolidone carboxylate (PCA), a moisturising molecule. It regulates sebum production, limits bacterial growth, and soothes inflammation, making it an ideal active ingredient for combination to oily skin prone to breakouts. It also helps tighten pores and brighten the complexion. It is well tolerated and suitable for sensitive skin, with balancing and purifying properties.

Found in the Anti-Blemish Serum.

EXCLUDED INGREDIENTS

As soon as we suspect that an ingredient may be harmful to the skin or the environment, we remove it from our formulas.

MINERAL OILS

Mineral oils (paraffin, petroleum jelly and refined petrochemical oils) are still used in cosmetics because of their low cost, chemical inertness, and strong occlusive properties.

We avoid them for three reasons: their petrochemical origin, their excessive occlusive effect, and their lack of active benefits.

PHTHALATES

Certain phthalates are officially classified as endocrine disruptors or reproductive toxins and are already banned under European cosmetics regulations.

As a precautionary measure and to ensure maximum safety, we have chosen to exclude all phthalates from our formulations, even those that are not subject to regulatory restrictions.

SILICONES

Silicones are not banned in cosmetics, but certain types (such as cyclic D4, D5, and D6) are restricted due to their low biodegradability and environmental impact.

As a precautionary measure, we have chosen to exclude all silicones from our formulations in order to prioritise alternatives that are more sustainable and gentler on the skin and the environment.
