Fred Zülli is a pioneer in global scientific research on plant stem cells.
Dr. Fred Zülli, who holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and was awarded the prestigious Kurt J. Pfeiffer Prize in 2025 in recognition of his exceptional contributions to the advancement of cosmetology, has focused his research career over the past thirty years on the in vitro behaviour of alpine stem cells.

In 1991, Dr. Fred Zülli founded Mibelle Biochemistry, a leading European company in the research, development and production of cosmetic active ingredients. He continues to lead its development today.
For over 15 years, Dr. Fred Zülli has also served as Vice President of the Swiss Society of Cosmetic Chemists (Swiss SCC).

For many years, Dr. Fred Zülli has been presenting his research at conferences organised by the International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists (IF SCC).
In 2023, Dr. Zülli discussed, among other things, the unique characteristics of the skin in people with diabetes and opportunities for developing tailored products.
Dr. Fred Zülli has published more than 50 research articles in the world’s most prestigious scientific journals.
